Week 11 - Soup Sundays, Classic Chicken Noodle Soup
Chicken Noodle Soup
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup egg noodles
2 carrots, sliced
2 celery stalks, sliced
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp rosemary
or Replace Rosemary and Thyme with 1tbsp of The Not Chicken, Chicken salt
Salt and pepper to taste - Not required of using our spice blend
2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
Sauté Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a large pot. Add onion, carrots, and celery, cook until softened. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Add Broth and Chicken: Pour in chicken broth and add shredded chicken. Season with thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
Cook Noodles: Bring to a boil, add egg noodles, and cook until tender.
Serve: Ladle into bowls and serve hot.
